Overview
Our Series 2000 Hingeaway Doors use counterweight balances that brings a unique and innovative functionality to this door, with a range of applications that include commercial, residential, and industrial use. Working with a little intrusion as possible, internal projection is minimised, with elegant design meeting economical space management.
Hingeaway door is a contemporary concept offering luxury, elegance and durability. Closed or open, this door is brilliantly designed to allow natural light in and when opened,enables for more use of valuable space.

Applications
Versatile and flexible in operation, this door fits with minimal internal projection, but may be unsuitable in high wind areas.

Specifications
24V Belt-Driven System
Operation:
The door consists of two horizontally hinged leaves. Operation may be manual or motorised.
Motorised operation utilises a low-voltage 24V belt-driven system, providing smooth and controlled movement.
Safety:
An optional patented anti-fall brake system is available and is designed to engage in the event of a cable failure.
Steel Infill:
Doors may be supplied with steel infill panels. Standard Colorbond profiles are typically used; however, specialised profiles may also be accommodated. Consultation with the manufacturer is required when using non-standard sections.
Glazing:
Doors may be partially or fully glazed for visibility or showroom applications and are glazed in accordance with AS 1288.
Standard glazing is 6.38 mm laminated safety glass. Alternative glazing materials must be approved by the manufacturer due to potential impacts on door weight, deflection, and overall system performance.
Glazed doors generally incorporate a kickplate to the lower leaf, with height determined by door size and weight.
Bar Grille:
A bar grille option is available, comprising a standard RHS frame infilled with 20 mm square hollow steel tubes, welded vertically across the full door face at approximately 120 mm centres.
Other Infill Options:
Additional infill materials may include plywood, mesh, perforated metal sheet, woven wire, or galvanised sheeting.
Locking:
Counterweight doors are not fitted with locking unless otherwise specified.
240V Chain-Driven System
Operation:
The door consists of two horizontally hinged leaves, counterbalanced by continuously suspended counterweights. Door movement is guided by a control roller operating within 60 mm × 70 mm × 60 mm × 3 mm guide channels.
Motorised operation utilises a 240V chain-driven system, designed for larger and heavier door applications.
Safety:
An optional patented anti-fall brake system is available and is designed to engage in the event of a cable failure.
