Overview
With a concertina style design, the Oriental Door is a side-folding solution that combines adaptability and functionality ideal for a wide range of commercial applications.
Ergonomically crafted to maximise space, it opens in a concertina like motion and stacks neatly to the side, all without the need for a floor track.

Specifications
Tracks:
Manufactured from extruded aluminium with a profile of 36 mm wide by 40 mm high. Curved track options are available and supplied with minimum radius requirements to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
Curtain:
The Oriental 150 curtain system features solid aluminium panels measuring 150 mm wide x 120 mm high at the top, and 120 mm wide x 120 mm high at the bottom. The Oriental 300 system incorporates larger panels, with 300 mm wide x 120 mm high aluminium panels fitted to both the top and bottom.
Panel edges consist of two-piece aluminium extrusions that form a continuous 165-degree hinge. Panels may be infilled with 3 mm or 4 mm toughened glass, polycarbonate, or 1.6 mm perforated metal sheeting. All glazing materials are securely retained using specially designed PVC extrusions along every edge. Additional horizontal members may be included to enhance strength and security, depending on the height of the opening.
Lock:
Locking is achieved using aluminium extrusion lock styles measuring 50 mm x 32 mm, fitted with a custom locking mechanism. Lock options include internal keying, external keying, dual-sided keying, and/or snib operation.
The overhead supporting structure must be engineered to adequately carry the door system in both open and closed positions.

Motorised Operation:
Where specified, the system may be fitted with a purpose-designed 24V low-voltage motorisation system. The 24V system can be configured with either a single motor or dual motors, depending on door size, weight, and project requirements, to ensure balanced and controlled operation.
The motorisation system incorporates logic control with built-in radio receiver capability and may be operated via local key switch or remote transmitter. Fire input connections and external control integration can be provided where required.
For auto-closing applications, the installation of PE safety beams is recommended.
