CLEARSPAN ROLLER SHUTTERS
Overview
The Clearspan design has gained strong recognition in recent years as a leading solution for commercial applications. Its ability to seamlessly blend robust security with a sleek, modern aesthetic makes it a standout in the industry. Clearspan Shutters allow after hours product displays to remain visible, enhancing your presentation and maximising every marketing opportunity even when your business is closed. Custom-built to suit a wide range of commercial spaces, these shutters not only safeguard against theft and unauthorised access but also offer protection from vermin intrusion. Each shutter features a centrally mounted locking mechanism housed within the bottom rail. Security options include a sliding shoot bolt or a mortice key lock, depending on your specific requirements.

Specifications
Side Guide:
50mm x 33mm extruded aluminium with false back for concealing fixings. Optional Nylofelt Buffer available.
Operation:
All doors are counterbalanced per manual operation and motorisation is optional.
24V Belt-Driven System
Motorised systems utilise low-voltage 24V belt-driven technology to deliver smooth, quiet operation. The 24V system may be configured with a single motor or dual motors, allowing the door to remain evenly balanced across the opening.
240V Chain-Driven System
Motorised operation utilising a 240V chain-driven system, designed for larger and heavier door applications, including wide-span openings.
Locking:
Centrally mounted two-way mortise key lock or sliding shoot bolt lock mounted within the bottom rail (manual doors only).
Bottom Rail:
90mm x 48mm extruded aluminium section incorporating locking device and concealed locking rods and optional PVC Buffer.
Curtain:
Constructed of clear polycarbonate extrusions having a depth of 1 00mm interlocking with symmetrical aluminium extruded members of 30mm to form a continuous hinge. Each aluminium member shall be fitted with moulded end clips to prevent lateral movement and provide smooth operation of side guides.
Brackets:
90mm x 40mm mild steel.
Roller drum:
29mm spiral ducted tube attached to ball bearing drum wheels rotating on 34mm steel shaft. The shaft shall be fitted with helical springs designed to counterbalance the curtain weight throughout its operation. The drum shall be designed to give minimum deflection over the span.
Mullions:
Specially designed one piece extrusion for straight openings and two piece sections that can be set to any angle and shall be used for wide openings and multiple door installations.
Mullions shall be lift out type with shoot bolts to base. Special wide mullions fabricated from aluminium sheet shall be used when two doors meet at an acute angle and no headroom exists for different mounting heights of doors (stacking).
